Description
Star Magic is a relatively lightly raced 4yo mare by Star Turn. She is out of the Gr. 2 winning mare Magically, who has produced 9 foals to race, all winners.
Star Magic has won 1 race and placed 4 times from 12 starts. She was also metropolitan placed as a 2yo.
Star Magic is a sound horse with no issues or vices, she just seems to have lost a bit of zest for racing. Her best form is on dry tracks, which we haven’t been able to get at this time of the year.
A change of environment and into a weaker jurisdiction may see her return to her best form, which is more than good enough to win a few more races. She is only a class 1, so she is still very easy to place.
She would suit a provincial or country trainer. Her old embargo is nothing to worry about, it was a once off out of character incident in the mounting yard on debut, where she was spooked and kicked out.
