A young winning Blackfriars mare with a wonderful commercial pedigree, in foal to the exciting, quick, early and drop-dead gorgeous son of Capitalist….
Antonina is a nice natured mare with good bone and conformation. She stands approx.16.1hh and weighs 580kg.
She is a winning full sister to Black Spirit, a six time winner of over $225,000 from the stakes placed (Natsha Stakes and Starstruck Classic) and multiple winning Testa Rossa mare Angel Rose, a three quarter sister to Ellicazoom and a half sister to Ellicorsam and the dam of the Gr2 winning and multiple Gr1 placed Soul Patch.
...and to top it all off, Antonina is in foal to Marine One!!! He was a $500,000 buy for Ciaron Maher and David Eustace at the 2020 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast and he jumped the blocks with a Group 3 placing in the VRC Maribyrnong Plate (1000m) at Flemington at his first start.
His highlight was when he let down with a big finish for a career-high victory in the G2 Rubiton Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield. Out of the Snitzel mare Golconda who won the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield, Marine One has everything you want in a stallion –quick, early, and drop dead gorgeous!!!
We are so excited about this mating that we would offer a 50% discount on the service fee to Marine One for Antonina for the 2024 stud season.
