Description
YOUNG TWO-TIME WINNING DAUGHTER OF NOT A SINGLE DOUBT IN FOAL TO EXCEEDANCE
For sale is young Not A Single Doubt mare, Dignified Doubt.
A $225k Inglis Easter yearling purchase by Ciaron Maher, she is a good sized, attractive mare very much in the mold of her sire Not A Single Doubt.
She is the first foal from Gr.3 placed High Chaparral mare Dame Margo Fonteyn, whose recent matings give good potential for pedigree updates including a 2YO Capitalist colt and weanling colt by Farnan.
Not A Single Doubt is a prolific broodmare sire, siring the dams of 20 Stakes winners including 11 Group winners, highlighted by Gr.1 winner SEASONS BLOOM, Gr.2 winner SEONEE and IMA SINGLE MAN etc.
Her first foal by Acclaim is a good style of maiden colt, good sized, strong, balanced and attractive.
Please note that Dignified Doubt is paralyzed in the left side of her face and has also had her left eye removed in December 2023. She has also been seen to wind suck.
She is in foal to Exceedance on a 2nd of November cover. Please note this pregnancy carries a free return to Exceedance should the mare not produce a live foal.
Exceedance has had a fantastic start with his first crop 2YOs, siring 4 individual winners and a further 3 placegetters from just 10 runners. These include Gr.3 Pago Pago Stakes winner DUBLIN DOWN, also a winner of the Gr.3 Maribyrnong Stakes, as well as Melbourne Metro debut winner and Stakes placed Flyer and debut winners Hamilton Brown and Simply Tina.
