Safety Pin is a mare that hails from a cracking family littered with black type performers. She is a half sister to the dual G1 winning COSTUME who is the producer of stakes performer Outfit. She is also a half sister to 2yo stakes winner Masquerade and four-time winner in Whatanexcuse. Safety Pin is by champion sire Pins who was champion sire in Hong Kong twice and twice won the Centaine award for leading New Zealand based sire for global earnings.
She has proven herself as a consistent producer with three to the track for three winners and is being sold in foal to the underrated sire and superb producer of winners in Rebel Dane. An incredibly well performed horse on the track, Rebel Dane is a dual G1 winning sprinter winning the MRC Sir Rupert Clark and MVRC Manikato Stakes.
