Twig is a lightly raced, talented and versatile 6yo mare.
She has won 4 times from 1200m to 1600m, and has been placed on another 6 occasions from her 20 starts.
This mare comes from a very commercial family, being out of a half sister to multiple stakes winners Star Of The Seas (G2 and G3 winner, $1.4m) and Spieth ($625,000 and standing at stud). She is also from the immediate family of German Horse Of The Year Ranson O'War.
Yearlings from Twig's dam have sold up to $625,000, $400,000 in recent years and are in work with Ciaron Maher, Bjorn Baker and Phillip Stokes, so there is every chance of an upgrade to her pedigree page in future.
Typical of her family, this mare is a very good type and an imposing physical specimen standing at 16.1hh.
