Description
After having just spent $4000 breaking in, the group has decided against racing on with our lovely little Zoustar Colt. The cost to get him to the track vs the risk involved with his pasterns is one we were not all in agreeance with. Half of our race group wanted to continue on, whilst half wanted to sellout, therefore the only fair way is to put him online and move him on.
The horse has literally just finished its breaking in and has been sent to spell.
He is a lovely natured horse, who had no problems going through the breaking phase and some educational barrier work.
The downside is he has longish pasterns, most are in agree that, until you get him under race pressure, you're not going to know how they hold up. To date, there's been no issues, however, it is something we're making sure the new owner is aware of.
We've spent approx $29,500 to date on the horse, so a real shame we cannot go the next step.
Would suit someone willing to take their time and let him grow and strengthen.
