Description

SAVOUREUX was a brilliant racehorse with six wins, two at stakes level having taken out the G3 ATC Wenona Girl Classic and the Listed BRC Mode Plate along with a further two G3 placings including the G3 ATC Triscay and the G3 Tibbie Stakes, accumulating in close to $400,000 in prizemoney.

SAVOUREUX’s ZOUSTAR filly (now named MRS HARRIS) is currently in the stables of Tony and Calvin McEvoy after realising $300,000 as a Magic Millions yearling. This family is well known to the McEvoy’s, having trained YVONNE to an amazing 8x wins including a G3 and Listed race. YVONNE then went on to produce the stakes placed MISS O’BRIEN (also trained by the McEvoy’s).

SAVOUREUX is currently in foal to ZOUSAIN with the date of last service being 12/10/2023, making the resulting progeny a three-quarter relation to MRS HARRIS.

ZOUSAIN (by ZOUSTAR) was an outstanding winner of the G2 BRC Champagne Classic and ran 2nd in G1 VRC Coolmore stakes behind Sunlight and 2nd in the G1 ATC Golden Rose and G1 BRC JJ Aitkins stakes – both to champion colt and now Arrowfield sire THE AUTUMN SUN who is making his mark having already produced a phenomenal three G1 winners to date.

ZOUSAIN has had a great start to his career at stud off a moderate service fee, with 8 winners including G3 ATC Magic Night Stakes winner DRIFTING and a further three stakes place getters – ZOUNA, CHATEAU MIRAVAL and THE DABBLE EFFECT. Also a sire on the rise, the resulting progeny will be sure to do well at a weanling or yearling sale to come.
