Dual winner and Randwick-placed on debut for Chris Waller, April Thunder is a daughter of Encosta de Lago mare Kyria who ran 3rd in Pierro’s G2 Silver Slipper. Kyria is a half-sister to Sydney G2 juvenile winner Always Allison. This is the immediate family of G1 VRC Derby winner Benicio and other Group winners Romneya, Roheryn and Rosa Imperial.
April Thunder was an Inglis Easter yearling by Golden Slipper winner Sebring, already the damsire of 10 stakeswinners including G1 winners Griff and On The Bubbles plus three other Group winners.
