Description
Murrumbidgee River, 6yo gelding by Fiorente.
Relatively lightly raced over 12 starts, Murrumbidgee River was successful over the flat before recently taking on a jumps career. He ran well first up in a Maiden hurdle at Ballarat and was on track to run at Warrnambool prior to not getting a run. He then went on to have a steeple trial and has acquired his hill and steeple ticket.
Unfortunately around 4 weeks later he sustained a tendon injury to his left fore. It is a 10% lesion between 1A and 2B. Since the injury, he has been spelling for one month and is relatively sound and progressing through rehabilitation well.
Once rehabilitated, he would be a good prospect for someone trying their hand at jumping or alternatively would make a really nice eventing/equestrian horse. He has a great nature and is good to handle and ride.
He is being offered for sale in order to dissolve a racing partnership.
