Description
Secret Spice (by Sakhees Secret) was bred in NZ but had a racing career in Singapore and Malaysia where she won eight times at distances from 1100m to 1700m. On retirement her ownership group sent her to NSW where she was served by Xtravagant - her first foal was a Filly that was sold at 2023 Inglis Classic Sale for A$40k and sne to Anthony/Sam Freedman to be prepared - unfortunately, she suffered a broken leg after getting cast in her box and had to be put down. Secret Spice foaled a Colt by Xtravagant in 2022 and he was sold at the Magic Millions March 2024 Yearling Sale. Her 2023 foal is by Heroic Valour and is now a weanling. Circumstances within the breeding syndicate have changed and so Secret Spice is now being offered as a broodmare prospect. She was not mated in 2023 - this was a deliberate decision in order to get her breeding cycle back into line - she is in great physical order and is ready to be mated nice and early in the coming breeding season - she can be inspected at Raheen Stud Warwick QLD
