Description
WINDRADYNE (GB) is a daughter of Sepoy - the four time Group 1 & Golden Slipper winner and sire of Group 1 ATC Flight Stakes winner Alizee. Sepoy’s daughters have shown their wares at stud, having produced stakes winners such as Pignan who won the Group 1 Manawatu Sires Produce Stakes in NZ. Other notable winners include Steparty (Group 3 MRC Caulfield Guineas Prelude) and Live To Tell (WATA Gimcrack Stakes).
WINDRADYNE descends from a fast international family, being a half relation to the Champion older Sprinter in Europe – SOLE POWER. Sole Power is a four time Group 1 winner who twice won the Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot as well as being placed multiple times at Group 1 level.
Windradyne’s yearlings have been sought after by astute judges including Chris Waller, Peter Snowden and the Waterhouse, Bott & Kestrel Thoroughbreds team. Her yearlings have made for $425,000 (filly by The Autumn Sun) and $375,000 (colt by Extreme Choice) at auction.
