SECOND TIME LUCKY was purchased by King Star Farm at the 2023 Inglis Chairman’s Broodmare Sale in foal to STAY INSIDE for $280,000.
SANCTA (2017 So You Think – Second Time Lucky (NZ), by Any Suggestion) sold for $185,000 at the 2023 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in foal to Wootton Bassett (GB).
TIYE (2021 American Pharoah – Second Time Lucky (NZ), by Any Suggestion) was retained to race and recently finished 4th in the Listed Bill Carter Stakes on the 25th May, 2024.
CAREER CHANGE last raced on the 28th December, 2023 at Orange over the 1010m. She never came up in that preparation and finished well behind the Gr1 Stradbroke winner STEFI MAGNETICA.
In the right race she could achieve the metropolitan winning status and her form suggests that.
The mare has resumed work after a long break and is sound and clean winded.
