Description

ZAFARANA is a nice big mare who is by champion American stallion MEDAGLIA D’ORO who stood for a fee of US$250,000 at his peak. She is out of a mare by ENCOSTA DE LAGO, another star stallion, out of a SUCCESS EXPRESS mare out of a VAIN mare. All of these stallions champions or outstanding sires and as good if not better broodmare stallions. She is completely free of DANEHILL.

She has a Colt weanling KING’S LEGACY, a couple of photos of him are below, one as an early foal and one a couple of months ago. A good strong first foal with plenty of substance and strength. He is quite correct and our intention is to race this Colt but looking to sell the mare to lighten the load. She is away to a start and can throw a nice foal. She was not covered last season after foaling mid November.

She has been ridden for a couple of months so if you are looking for a riding horse she is in really good shape to continue straight on with if you wish to buy her to ride. She has a good temperament and is very easy to get along with.
