Lightly raced daughter of Kermadec, Ace Of Lace has placed from 10 starts and would likely benefit from an easier jurisdiction to see her at her best.

She is more capable then her record suggests. She trialled very well leading into her recent campaign - see below replay link - and after having little luck at her first two starts, she put in her best run third up with a good 3rd after a wide run in transit at her first try over 1600m at Werribee. Her following two runs were below her best, however she bounced back with an eye-catching effort on Monday at Seymour after a 3-week freshen. She was awkwardly away from the gates which put her back in the field where it was always going to be difficult to win but she found the line very well making up a lot of ground in the process showing a win is only just around the corner (race replay link above).
