A quality racy colt out of the MAGNUS mare MAGNAGEM, born the 27th of October 2023
A stunning looking boy, he is a straight forward colt that is correct enough, with a good body and good size and solid bone.
By the superstar 2yo HANSEATIC who was the first 2yo since Champion juvenile Rancher to clean sweep the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes, the Listed Blue Diamond Preview and the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude before running an extremely unlucky but fast-finishing 2nd in the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes
HANSEATIC had a brilliant first book, covering 195 mares in his debut season, following that up with 175 in his second season and 144 in his third.
HANSEATIC’s yearlings were well received this year with his top colt realising $375,000 and his top filly selling for $150,000 from a $17,600 service fee.
This colt is a half-brother to TIMELESS GEM by I AM IMMORTAL who is based in WA and is a dual trial winner, now maiden winner at Pinjarra first start.
For the breeding buffs, this colt is inbred to the great mare SCANDINAVIA who has gone on to be a blue hen of the Australian breeding world with connections to the multiple Horse of the Year - BLACK CAVIAR as well as OLE KIRK, GIMMIE PAR, KRAKARIB, SCANDIVA, MAXIMILLIUS, SEMILLION; as well as the horses in question in the direct lineage of this colt in that of MAGNUS and HANSEATIC.
