Description
Suprina is a six-year old mare by I Am Invincible's son SUPER ONE out of the stakes winning Danehill Dancer mare, DANEDINA.
A winner of four sprint races herself ,she was a tough, gutsy racehorse with good speed and a great will to win. She was unlucky not to win Sydney Saturday races, with several city placings.
Suprina is from a very strong female family. Her dam DANEDINA is a half sister to SP OBSIDIAN DRAGON, who produced the outstanding multiple Group winning filly SERADESS and ROSE QUARTZ, a G3 winner and G2 runner-up who, at her last start ran 3rd to King Of Sparta in the $1 million Magic Millions Sprint.
Her half sister Danish Bingo is the dam of BRAVE HALO, a brilliant sprinter who not only won three races as a 2yo, but was 4th in the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude and the G1 Blue Diamond last year, before his premature death.
Suprina'a close female relations have young stock coming through by such sires as WRITTEN TYCOON, PINATUBA, OLE KIRK, STAY INSIDE, ASTERN, PAULELE, MAGNA GRECIA and ADMIRE MARS.
