Description
Tycoon Deshauna is a 3YO filly by Written Tycoon out of the winning Rothesay mare, Supersay, who is a half sister to Group 1 VRC Oaks winner, Lasqueti Spirit. This filly hails from the same family as Group 1 Doomben Cup winner Mr Bureaucrat and Group 3 winners All Black Gold and So Wotif.
Tycoon Deshauna was a $320,000 purchase from the 2022 Inglis Easter Sale. She is lightly raced with just 2 starts to her name for 1 win and 1 placing. She broke her maiden at the first time of asking at Canterbury over 1100m and she ran 2nd at her next start over 1250m at the same track.
On the 4th of June 2024, Tycoon Deshauna was found to be two grades lame in the near forelimb. Radiographs of the near fore knee revealed a large non-displaced osteochondral fragment of the third carpal bone with associated severe sclerotic remodelling. As a result of these findings Tycoon Deshauna is being offered as a broodmare prospect. Please see vet report attached. She has completed the recommended 6 weeks box rest and is now turned out in a small paddock.
