WINNING DUBAWI MARE IN FOAL TO STAKES PRODUCING FIRST SEASON SIRE EXCEEDANCE
Della’s Diamond is a daughter of world class stallion Dubawi, the sire of 279 individual stakes winners. Dubawi is also proving to be a successful broodmare sire with his daughters producing the likes of Stakes winners Adayar, Militarize, Loft, etc.
Della’s Diamond was a Sydney Metropolitan winner and from one foal to race she has produced two-time winner Diamond Flyer (by Press Statement). She also has an athletic Headwater yearling filly to come for her.
She is being sold in foal to exciting first season sire Exceedance who has had a fantastic start with his first 2YOs, siring 7 individual winners from just 20 runners in Australia.
Exceedance is only one of two first season sires with multiple stakes winners having previously produced Dublin Down, winner of the Gr.3 Maribyrnong Plate and Gr.3 Pago Pago Stakes as well as Flyer, a metro debut winner who went on to win the Gr.3 David Coles Stakes.
He is also the sire of 2 very progressive horses heading into the Spring in Team Hawkes trained Swiftfalcon and Brave One, both of whom have Stakes targets heading into the spring.
Della’s Diamond was not covered in 2019 and 2020 due to no fault of her own and as a result of debtor circumstances.
