Description
Horses with ability like this talented stayer don't come on the market very often. Distrustful Award is a STAKES placed, winner by the outstanding stallion in Shamus Award. This gelding showed enough ability in his 3 year old year to race with the absolute best of the crop in the time honored Victoria Derby. In the Group 3 Norman Robinson in which he ran 3rd he was beaten only by two outstanding gallopers in Muramasa and Mr Maestro. Both these horses are of elite quality with each of them having prizemoney earnings of half a million dollars.
Since his 3 year old year Distrustful Award hasn't found tracks or distances suitable to bring his best form. He has now had a good spell and has never looked or felt better within himself and is ready to recapture this elite form in the right hands. He is tall horse standing at 16.2hh and as his breeding and conformation suggests is only going to get better as he matures and develops into his big frame. This lovely gelding is a delight to handle in every way, shape and form
