Esprit Rossa is a very well performed race mare out of Our Bella Rossa (Testa Rossa) by the sire of Black Caviar, Bel Esprit. Bel Esprit achieved 8 victories – all in black-type races. He was triumphant in the Group 1 MRC Blue Diamond Stakes and the Group 1 BTC Doomben 10,000.
Esprit Rossa was a sound and durable on the track herself. She raced on 24 occasions as a 3YO to a 6YO. She won 5 races from distances of 1,100 metres up to a mile and placed a further 8 times. Her career highlights were a Saturday victory over a mile at Moonee Valley RC and a Saturday 2nd at Flemington also over a mile.
