Hesitate has always been a very consistent mare and arguably deserves more wins on her record had she had better luck in running. She won at BM64 level in Victoria and has been very consistent in this grade throughout her career.

PEDIGREE:

Hesitate is by the son of Fastnet Rock in El Roca and out of good producing mare Don't Dilly Dally who had only 3 foals to race, all winners including the Stakes Placed Hasstobegood who sold this year at the Magic Millions Broodmare Sale for 220k in foal to Hellbent to Daandine Stud/Boomer Bloodstock.

Don't Dilly Dally is a daughter of Joint NZ Filly of the Year in Gr1 NZ Thousand Guineas winner PLUME making her a half-sister to Stakes Placed Mount Kosciusko and the dam of another Gr1 winner in MAC O'REILLY and Stakes Placed Mrs Gardenia and Gris Dame.

Hesitate will make a fine broodmare. She stands at approximately 16.1hh and is a roomy, attractive type with great overall substance.
