Back For More is an unraced Astern gelding currently being trained by Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman at Pakenham in Victoria. He will race with the successful and reputable syndicator in Dalziel Racing.
Back For More has just completed his 2nd formal preparation having his most recent jumpout at Pakenham on Tuesday the 13th of August (Heat 10).
As a 10th of October foal, he’s still developing and growing into his frame. He is headed back to Rosemont Stud for a 6-8 week spell and should benefit from the Spring sunshine on his back.
Back For More is the third foal out the of the Darley bred mare Birdsong, by multiple Group 1 winning horse, Sepoy. Her second foal, a 4YO mare by Epaulette named Nightingale (owned by Godolphin & trained by James Cummings), boasts two wins and a second placing from her six starts so far (6 – 2 : 1 : 0).
Back For More was acquired by Dalziel Bloodstock & Peter Moody Racing for $170,000 from the Flinders Park Stud draft in the 2023 Inglis Premier Sale.
The 5% share in Back For More is being sold unreserved. Any prizemoney and training fees are applicable from the time of purchase (fall of the hammer) and the purchaser is required to agree to Dalziel Racing’s terms and conditions and pay for any associated ownership transfer fees as is the norm.
