Description
This mare is a young, well related daughter of Champion Sire Snitzel. He is an emergent broodmare sire himself, with his daughters producing the likes of Group 1 winners Celestial Legend, Mossfun and Velocious. Given Snitzel remains in his relative youth as a damsire, this mare represents an opportunity to enjoy any future upside of his daughters’ deeds at stud.
Lamorlaye was a $900,000 yearling herself, testament to her outstanding physical presentation. Moreover, she is a daughter of the stakes winning French sprinting mare, Iffranesia. Lamorlaye descends from a deep European sprinting family, with speed littered throughout. She has the pedigree to excel in the Australian commercial environment.
Lamorlaye retired to stud in 2023 and fell pregnant to Capitalist on her first cover. Unfortunately she produced a dead foal in 2024. Please note the breeding certificate attached.
