Description
CALIFORNIA ROLE is an unraced 3YO gelding sired by PIERRO out of the FASTNET ROCK mare, SUBTITLE. He was a $400,000 2023 Inglis Easter purchase and is a FULL BROTHER to the multiple GROUP 3 winning ROCK and the city winning, stakes placed mare FEMME FIREBALL.
CALIFORNIA ROLE was with Snowdens until May 2024 and indicated to the stable that he was more suitable over distance rather than sprinting which didn't suit his former Hong Kong owners.
Like the majority of Pierro's, they are much better as 3yos and beyond, and he is ready for an immediate pre-training and training program with his new owner. Unfortunately, we have made the tough decision to move California Role on as we have had some unexpected expenses with our other horses.
He was purchased in May 2024 for $13,000 + GST and is being sold in this auction unreserved.
He is 16'1hh and +/- 530kg and has a lovely nature and temperament.
