Description
Grey Nofthern is a 5 year old mare by Melbourne Cup winning horse Shocking.
Grey northern broke her maiden at Pakenham over 1400 metres before going on to win again over 1600 metres and 1400 metres.
She has races 18 times for 3 wins and is now back in the Simon Zahra stables at Flemington primed for her next preparation. She had a start 6 days ago where she flashed home on the outside from a wide gate.
The team believing she needs more distance are expect a very promising preparation this time in.
She’s primed and ready to race. You should see her race within days after the auction.
My reason for selling is solely due to financial and other life pressures.
She’s a lovely grey mare, with a great ownership group, ready to put her best foot forward. I’m really sad to be selling my share in her, but wish the winning bidder all the best of luck going forward. I will be following her progress with interest.
