Description

This colt is out of the mare FUHRNATIC who is a six-time winning and stakes placed mare having run second at Listed level on two occasions. She has been a brilliant producer, with the half-sister to this colt being six-time winning and multiple Group winning FUHRYK; who amassed an incredible $760,000 in prize money after taking out the G3 SAJC Proud Miss Stakes, G3 MRC Kevin Hayes Stakes and the Listed Alinghi Stakes as well as a cracking second place in the G1 Winterbottom Stakes.

FUHRNATIC is the dam of six named foals all to race for five winners. Her sales results for her progeny have been particularly strong over the years as she is known to produce a quality type of horse – and this colt is no exception!

The half-sister to this colt by ALL TOO HARD sold for $500,000 at Melbourne Premier, the MAGNUS half realised $240,000 at the same sale and the half by MERCHANT NAVY sold for $170,000 to Mick Price.

This colt is by EARTHLIGHT who is Darley’s undefeated Champion 2yo by sire of sires in that of SHAMARDAL – a sire line we know has worked particularly well in Australia. From a brilliant European family, EARTHLIGHT won the G1 Middle Park Stakes over 1200m at Newmarket setting a new juvenile course record before going to France and taking out the G1 Prix Morny at Deauville.
