Description

WILD ROCKET is a good looking, correct mare of 16 hands, who was an exceptionally tough and sound racehorse over five seasons. She is now ready to go to Stud and pass those attributes on to her future foals. On the track she won 8 races, including the Narromine and Warren Cups, and was placed another 10 times, including a placing in Sydney. She also showed a sizzling turn of foot to finish a close-up 4th in the Country Championships at Randwick.

Wild Rocket is by UNCLE MO, one of the leading sires in the USA, and who represents a good outcross pedigree to the dominant sire lines in Australia. Her dam sire is ENCOSTA DE LAGO, who is consistently among the leading broodmare sires. From a good winner-producing family, Wild Rocket's Dam has foaled 7 winners from 9 foals to race, including the city winners HILLARY STEP and the speedy LIGHTNING STEED, winner of HK$4.6 million in Hong Kong.
