Description
ALENIA (AUS) is a 6YO mare by Astern. Three time race winner over distances between 1100 -1300m
She is a beautiful mare in nature. Good confirmation with solid bone structure. She is a big roomy mare who stands over plenty of ground.
ALENIA is from NORTHERN METEOR mare SICILIAN MISS, a half-sister to G2 winner and G3 placed TIAMO GRACE. The black type continues through the family with I AM A STAR, SPECIALE, COMMON WORLD, ELEGANT COMPUSRE etc, providing plenty of residual value for ALENIA’S pedigree when she starts her breeding career.
ALENIA has been in full work and was scheduled to continue her racing career but has unfortunately suffered a tendon injury during her last run and the owner has regretfully decided to move her on rather than rehabilitate due to her age.
She has been undergoing daily cryotherapy treatments and bandaging to start the healing process.
