Description
Talcott Tori was a very speedy individual, whose racing career was curtailed by injury. She is a strong mare, correct and stand 16:2 HH.
She is bred on a similar cross to many stakes winners, including Group 1 winners Shelby Sixtysix and Mariamia. Her dam Bluegrass Danni is a half to Marasco, a winner of 16 races including the Group 2 VRC Makybe Diva Stakes, and Siesta Bay, a multiple stakes winner in WA.
She has been easy to get into foal, going in foal on the first cover each year. She does need to be sedated in the crush for vetting. Otherwise, she is easy to farrier, drench, catch in a paddock and float.
The bay filly foal at foot is the second foal from the mare. The foal is from the 2nd crop of Wooded (IRE), a winner and dual Group placed at two and a Group 1 winner of the Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp over 1000 metres as a three year old. She has been bred on a similar cross as Group 1 winner and sire Wyndspelle, and Group 3 winner Francesca. The filly is a strong individual with good confirmation.
Talcott Tori’s full brother sold for $100,000 in the 2021 Inglis sale.
Talcott Tori has a speed-oriented pedigree with a very nice filly at foot. She is being sold as the owner is downsizing.
