Description
OUTSPEED is a lightly raced TAVISTOCK 4yo gelding with his best racing ahead of him.
A $220,000 NZB Karaka purchase, he is a quality individual with a pedigree and physique which will see him excel at 2000m and beyond.
Formerly trained by Chris Waller and Charlotte Littlefield, OUTSPEED has only had one racing preparation with his best performances seeing him beaten less than 4L at Cranbourne and Ballarat and only 0.95L at Swan Hill.
He is a versatile horse. He can go forward or sit behind and he handles both firm and soft tracks. Whilst he hasn’t been exposed to any heavy tracks in his short career, his NZ pedigree would suggest that he will relish these conditions as well.
The ownership group have been extremely patient but have decided to move him on and concentrate on Saturday Metro/Stakes level horses.
OUTSPEED went straight to the spelling paddock in good sound condition after his most recent start at Bendigo. He will benefit from a short break and is sure to come back a nicer strayer in his next preparation.
He has a lovely attitude and is easy to train. He has no vices and is easy to shoe and float.
