MAGNASPIN is a lightly raced 5yo gelding by Magnus. An ultra-consistent gelding who has shown he is right up to Group class. Not often do opportunities arise to race a genuine high class galloper and MAGNASPIN represents that opportunity. In the last 12 months has taken the step into stakes grade with some outstanding performances. A 3 time Melbourne metropolitan winner MAGNASPIN took his form to a new level when winning the 500k The Coast at Newcastle 11/5/24 beating a high quality field incl Group winner Williamsburg. This was followed by a close up 6th in the Group 3 Lord Mayors Cup beaten 3.8 Len. His 3rd in the Group 3 Sandown Stks 1500m 28/9/24 saw him beaten only 1.8 Len behind Desert Lightning really showed what he can do at this level.

MAGNASPIN is a tough gelding who can lead, run on speed or sit just off. He has no known issues and the stable report he is an easy horse to train. Effective from 1400m to 2000m MAGNASPIN has been lightly raced and looks to have a long successful career ahead.
