Description
Ferghana is a very handsome 4yo bay gelding standing at 15.3hh. He is bred in the purple by Exceed And Excel x Alizes, which makes him a close relation to Astern and Alizee but obviously, he didn’t inherit their group 1-winning ability.
He is lightly raced having only 14 starts for one second and three thirds, all at NSW country tracks, over distances ranging from 1100m to 1650m. He is effective on good to soft tracks but is not fond of heavy going.
He has been sound throughout his racing career, which he started with Godolphin before coming to Litt Racing. He is being sold as a racing proposition on behalf of the owners as it is felt he could be more competitive in other racing jurisdictions, such as South Australia or Queensland, or country NSW.
Ferghana would also be a good prospect for Off-The-Track equine disciplines due to his good looks, lovely action and pliable demeanour.
