Description
Collerette is by Zousain, out of two-time winning mare Queen For Ninedays who has had four foals to the races for three winners including Group 3 placegetter Krameric. Krameric was trained by the stable and showed a lot of ability early hence purchasing this well put together filly at the 2023 Magic Millions yearling sale.
Collerette showed ability in her trials and on debut ran a promising second, beaten 0.8lengths as a two-year-old before failing on a very heavy track at Warwick Farm. She was spelled and came back this preparation as a stronger three-year-old however after rearing and missing the start on the 18th of September, which is unaccustomed for her, hasn’t performed at the level we need her to, to justify having her in a city stable.
She is a straightforward filly who is still only a three-year-old so with a change of scenery and weaker racing jurisdiction, should see her come back into form.
She is Magic Millions and BOBS nominated.
