WELL-RELATED RUSSIAN REVOLUTION YEARLING COLT FOR UNRESERVED SALE
For unreserved sale is a yearling colt by Russian Revolution.
Standing for $66,000 inc GST in 2024, Russian Revolution was a Champion 1s and 2nd Season Sire and his leading progeny include Gr.1 winner COMMUNIST, 3x Gr.2 winner REVOLUTIONARY MISS, Gr.3 winners LIBERTAD, RISE OF THE MASSES, RED RESISTANCE, RUSSIAN ALLIANCE etc.
A proven sale horse, his yearlings have sold up to $1.1m, $850k, $600k, $560k etc.
This colt is out of the well-related Stratum mare Cappella Magna, a half-sister to Stakes winner IMMORTALITY and closely related to Stakes winners ABSOLUTE FLIRT and PRESSING. Her pedigree also features her Stakes winning 2YO 3rd Dam IDOL WORSHI, dam of Stakes winner CULT FIGURE and Granddam of Stakes winner GEEGEESA CLASSICBOY and Gr.1 winner CHOICE BRO.
Cappella Magna’s first foal by Capitalist sold for $200,000 to Ciaron Maher, 2nd foal by Russian Revolution was a $280,000 yearling bought by Snowden Racing and her 3rd foal by Cosmic Force named King Alloy was an $80,000 yearling purchase before making $160,000 at last year’s Inglis Ready to Race sale, selling to Hong Kong connections.
Please note this colt had an inferior check ligament desmotomy performed as a foal on his near fore. This has resulted in a good prognosis, however there is a small bump on the back of his tendon.
