DUAL STAKES PLACED 2YO IN FOAL TO LEADING FIRST SEASON SIRE OLE KIRK ON EARLY SEPTEMBER COVER
For sale is Piiink Beauty, a talented race mare who placed twice at Stakes level as a 2YO, in addition to winning 5 races and earning over $150k in prizemoney.
Piiink Beauty is 45 days positive in foal to Leading First Season Sire sensation OLE KIRK. She went in foal first cover, with an early service date of September 8th 2024.
One of the most exciting young sires in the land, Ole Kirk’s 2024 book has been closed for some time now at an advertised fee of $55,000 inc GST.
Ole Kirk could not have had a better start to his career at stud, with his first ever runner KING KIRK winning the 2YO Gr.3 Breeders’ Plate at Randwick on Debut earlier this month.
Backing this up, Ole Kirk’s second ever runner O’ Ole ran 2nd in the Gr.3 Gimcrack Stakes at Randwick also on debut behind potential star filly Bel Merci.
Both King Kirk and O’Ole have had a short break and are back in work targeting the $3m 2YO Magic Millions Classic in January. A pre-Christmas 2YO Group 3 winner and Group 3 placegetter from just 4 runners, Ole Kirk is an incredibly exciting young stallion.
Given what Ole Kirk himself achieved further into his 2YO and 3YO career, you would think his first crop 2YOs will only continue to get better. An exciting proposition given how they have begun.
A proven record of putting very good physical quality his stock, his 2024 yearlings, now 2YOs, sold up to $1m, $400,000, $400,000, $360,000 etc. and are in work with the country’s best trainers.
A talented race mare, at just her 3rd start Piiink Beauty ran 2.2L 3rd to BELLO BEAU in the 2YO Listed Elwick Stakes, before running 1.5L 2nd to Bello Beau in the 2YO Listed Gold Sovereign Stakes.
At his next start, Bello Beau ran 1.7L to CROSSWINDS in the Listed Valley Pearl at Moonee Valley, finishing 0.7L off subsequent Stakes winner NANAGUI and beating subsequent Stakes winner and Group performer LA DANSEUSE ROUGE.
His following start, Bello Beau started a short priced $2.60 favourite in the $1M “The Showdown” at Caulfield running an unlucky 0.2L 2nd after being wide the trip.
Piiink Beauty is a good-sized attractive mare with plenty of quality. She is correct with good bone, has good strength and will let down into a lovely broodmare.
She is out of city winning Medaglia d’Oro mare Miss Cooper, whose first 2 foals to race have both been Stakes performers in Piiink Beauty herself, as well as her half-brother Karacasu who is 3x Stakes placed, twice at Gr.3 level with almost $350k in earnings.
Miss Cooper’s 3rd foal named Miss Nadja was a $220,000 yearling purchase by Suman Hedge but unfortunately retired early due to injury. Purchased by Yulong Stud, she was successfully bred in 2023 to current Champion 2YO Sire WRITTEN TYCOON, recently producing a filly foal and will be bred to one of the Yulong stallions this spring.
Miss Cooper’s 2YO by Microphone named Kalmana was purchased at the 2024 Gold Coast January Magic Millions Sale for $130,000 by Karacasu’s trainers Richard and Chantelle Jolly.
Miss Cooper has a very nice RUSSIAN REVOLUTION colt at foot and is in foal to Golden Slipper winning first season sire SHINZO.
In addition, Piiink Beauty’s pedigree is highlighted by her 3rd dam MISS KOURNIKOVA, a winner of the Gr.1 Oakleigh plate who has produced Gr.3 and Listed winning 2YO and Magic Millions 2YO Classic runner up OAKLEIGH GIRL. Her pedigree is also a complete outcross to Danehill, making her an easy mare to mate going forward.
