Description
FLIC EN FLAC is a beautiful ghostly grey mare.
Named after the main beach in Mauritius, she is big and strong and a genuine race mare who still has more wins available.
However not for us. Our ownership group wants city class horses and whilst she should win more races in the provincial/ country environment, that doesn’t interest her large ownership team any longer, especially with the vast majority of her owners being based in NSW.
A winner two starts back (4 weeks ago) and a 1600m mare that can get a bit further too (placed at 2000m), she is a well rated Bm62 who has done her job for the team putting three (3) photos on the wall, (1400m, 1600m (2)) and been placed out to 2000m, but she seems to have hit her glass ceiling now and needs a slightly easier jurisdiction where she can get the opportunity to add a few more wins to the resume.
If she was a 4yo, our team would have gone on for another prep, but as a 5yo and with the yearling sales coming up, its time to say goodbye and thanks for the memories.
A lovely type with size and scope she will be a farm favourite as a broodmare once her racing days conclude however there is no reason to stop. She only went to the paddock after her most recent start on 5 November to free up the box space since she was going to be sold online.
She has had 9 races for the prep, but you wouldn’t know with how good she looks. She could race on now or a few weeks freshen-up and keep racing through the summer.
The money is spent in her and she was a winner over 1600m just 2 starts / 4 weeks ago.
Whilst we openly share the above details, we always recommend potential purchasers should arrange their own vet inspection to rely upon.
As with all Dynamic Syndications managed horses she is offered unreserved to dissolve the co-ownership and is on the market from the opening bid.
