ELATION AND JOY is a magnificent well bred daughter of Champion sire ZOUSTAR.
She come from a current and very active family with top stakeswinning fillies littered throughout her deep pedigree. Her dam is the Gr3 winning Rosa’s Spur by Champion sire Flying Spur. ELATION AND JOY stands approx 16hh, has correct limbs and a terrific type and mover.
ELATION AND JOY is a ½ sister to stakeswinner Members Joy dam of Gr2 Percy
Sykes Stks winner Pure Elation, who is in turn the dam of Listed winner Hip Hip
Hurrah. Members Joy’s progeny have been highly sort after in the sales ring with the Zoustar x Members Joy filly ( 3/4 sister in blood to Elation And Joy) making 1.1 million at 2023 January Magic Millions Yearling sale. The Zoustar x Members Joy colt at 2022
Easter Yearling sale made 550k through the ring and Members Joy herself was sold for 1.45 mil, 800k & 550k respectively as a broodmare.
ELATION AND JOY is also ½ sister to Chiaretta dam of the Listed pl Macaluso and the 2nd top price at the 2023 Karaka NZ Yearling Sale Savabeel x Chiaretta filly who sold for 600k.
ELATION AND JOY’S ½ sister Rosarian has left the very smart Ciaron Maher trained Gr3 Auraria Stks winner & Gr1 Australasian Oaks placed Jennilala.
ELATION AND JOY’S weanling ½ brother by Snitzel selling for 575k at the 2024 Great Southern Sale.
ELATION AND JOY is from an outstanding family of stakeswinning fillies which apart from the aforementioned fillies includes Rosa’s Joy Gr3 Ottawa Stks winner, Listed winner Rosarino dam of outstanding Zoustar sprinter Indian Ocean, Rosa’s Image Gr3 Blue Diamond Prelude winner etc
This family continues to be well sort after with more family members to be sold at major sales next year.
ELATION AND JOY is due to come back into pre training on Monday after spelling very well. The mare is currently unraced due to a few small paddock accidents but is presented with no known issues and is available for your own vet check.
ELATION AND JOY has shown good ability and is trained by Leading trainer Ciaron Maher who know’s her family well as the trainer of close relative Gr3 winner Jennilala.
Latest Update
We are pleased to confirm that Elation And Joy has arrived safely back at our Ballarat stables to resume training.
She enjoyed her first day back under saddle here this morning, completing some steady trot and canter work in the Inside Bullring, and we will be back in touch with another update in approximately a fortnight's time, once she has had a chance to settle back into her regular work routine.
