Description
A young, group performed, city winning mare in foal to a champion second season sire TRAPEZE ARTIST, out of a half sister to a Group One winning 2yo!
Soho Ruby is a well related, classy on the track performer in foal to the right sire. She was a five time winner and seven times placed in her career including 3rd in the Group Three Tressady Stakes at Flemington. Closing her race career with almost $300,000 in earnings.
By the elite and sorely missed NORTHERN METEOR, she is from the Red Ransom mare, Red Rapture, who was impeccably bred. A half sister to the outstanding 2yo KNOWLEDGE who captured the Group One Blue Diamond and the smart Group Three winning filly MASLINS BEACH, who went onto have a successful broodmare career producing the stales performed Salmanazar as well as several other multiple city winners.
Soho Ruby’s second foal by Trapeze Artist realised $120,000 as a yearling as is being sold back in foal to him on a September service date. TRAPEZE ARTIST was crowned Champion Second Season Sire last season with earnings of $6.62 Million and sired more individual winners than Gr.1 producing stallions JUSTIFY, HARRY ANGEL & GRUNT. His progeny include Gr.1 Caulfied Guineas winner GRIFF, Gr.3 winners DUCASSE & FACILE, 2YO Magic Millions placegetter SPYWIRE, Gr.2 placed juvenile FLY FLY, Gr.3 placed CONCELLO, as well as the stakes placed quartet FLYING TRAPEZE, INTRODUCING, REBECCHI & ARTISTICA.
