Description
A five time winning Bel Esprit mare, out of a half sister to the champion racehorse MIGHT AND POWER, in foal to the 2nd season champion sire, TRAPEZE ARTIST! As a broodmare sire, Bel Esprit has been an incredible source of success over the years. He has been responsible for 504 winners, 23 stakes winners and a further 41 stakes performers, which include the likes of Group One winners OLE KIRK, BEAUTY GENERATION & COSTA VIVA, he’s also responsible for the 2yo Group Two winning Eneeza, the lightning fast Humma Humma and the $3 million earner Front Page to name just a few.
Zabelarina was a smart performer on the track, winning five of her nineteen starts and placed a further four times, collecting over $150,000 in prize money. She is a half sister to the talented No Restriction, who was a winner on debut as a juvenile before tasting stakes success as a 3yo defeating none other than PRIDE OF JENNI!
She hails from an incredible black type family, her dam is a half sister to champion MIGHT AND POWER, the winner of an incredible 15 races, 7 of which came at Group One level accumulating over $5 million in prize money. She is also closely related to the phenomenal international galloper LUCKY OWNERS as well as star 2 & 3yo MOSHEEN.
She is being sold in foal to TRAPEZE ARTIST on a September service date. TRAPEZE ARTIST was crowned Champion Second Season Sire last season with earnings of $6.62 Million and sired more individual winners than Gr.1 producing stallions JUSTIFY, HARRY ANGEL & GRUNT.
