Description
Maggie, as Grand Touraine is known, has been in our care since purchasing her as a yearling from Melbourne Inglis. Maggie is a very competitive girl and won her Maiden at Moonee Valley leading all the way over 1600m. Maggie's race record does not indicate her strong will to be competitive, she has always put in and tried hard until recently her form has flattened off. She may need a good spell or has decided being a broodmare is more her preferred option. Her full brother and sisters have all won over sprints and distance, so the pedigree is proven as consistent.
She stands 16H and is a strong, well bodied girl who should carry a foal well. She's also a good looker who would make a lovely pleasure horse.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the right foreleg. A veterinary clearance is required prior to being permitted to race again.
