LADY L’ORANGE is the daughter of G1 winner Eskimo Queen (NZ). She is a beautiful mare, standing approximately 15.3hh, that has a lovely temperament and is very easy to handle, trim, in the crush etc and do anything with.
She has produced some quality stock (including one of her previous foals by GRUNT (NZ) that sold as a weanling for $60k) that are still to come through. Her latest foal in 2023 is a sensational strong, correct, huge filly (even though she was a late foal) by I AM IMMORTAL.
Lady is an absolute pleasure to have around and would be an asset to any astute breeder/stud with her pedigree and has been an easy breeder in the past. Owners decided to give her a year off last year and not put her in foal as she is the type of mare that puts everything she has into her foals. She is however empty still and a new owner still has time to cover her this season.
She has been seen to windsuck. Her owners have treated for gastric ulcers upon discussion with veterinarian and this reduced her windsucking considerably to only be infrequently seen post treatment. It would be recommended to keep her on a maintenance dose of omperazole and a grain free diet like she is on to prevent any flare ups.
