Description
Lightly raced mare that hasn't reached her full potential yet.
She has recently suffered an injury to her superficial digital flexor tendon and requires a spell (approximately 4-6 months) to allow the lateral SDFT branch to heal. With the right management she can continue racing (report attached), alternatively she can go to the breeding barn or make a nice riding horse off the track.
Sassy Beans has only the two starts to her name and her debut was better than her finishing position suggest with the distance being well short of her best. She came out of her second run with minor issue which required a short break and unfortunately on return a more mature mare, she has subsequently injured her tendon per above and the majority of owners have elected to put her up for sale.
Sassy Bean is a very good looking mare, lovely mover and with the time to recover per above, she would well suited to a country / provincial stable and capable of winning at that level.
