Description

Samphire Green is an imported 4yo son of Zoustar out of a winning Galileo mare, White Rosa. The gelding has had five starts to date for two minor placings. Initially the Irish bred was purchased following a very encouraging debut at Newcastle in England finishing second beaten 0.2L behind Juddmontes, Lautrec. The import then arrived to Australia and had three starts at his first campaign resulting in a third in Super Maiden company behind subsequent winner Evenflow and in front of Tenneil who has since gone onto win twice.

Unfortunately this campaign he returned as a gelding and has been unable to replicate this form and with the ownership group focused on racing metropolitan grade horses the decision was made to place him online.

Since his most recent run at Wyong on the 23rd he has been spelling at Milangall Park and we encourage all bidders to have independent veterinary inspections carried out.
