TRITI is a highly promising well-bred three-year-old gelding.
Winner of his only start over 1400m in a country boosted maiden running 1.22.90 as $1.75 favourite. Overcame difficulties in the run and showed a good turn of foot to slice through a gap and win with authority. His conformation, action and pedigree indicates he will excel over longer distances and possibly the Derby distance in the autumn.
From the first crop of sire sensation Castelvecchio whose progeny include Gr 1 Spring Champion Stakes winner EL CASTELLO, Gr 2 Moonee Valley Classic winner DOUBLE MARKET and impressive Gr 3 Carbine Club Stakes winner AELIANA – also an unlucky second in the Gr 1 Thousand Guineas. In addition Castelvecchio is the sire of the highly promising Shangri La Spring (like Triti from a Redoute’s Choice mare).
Half-brother to GANBARE, Stakeswinner of the Dulcify Stakes at Randwick defeating Tom Kitten and Port Lockroy and placing in the Gr 1 Spring Champion Stakes and 4th in the Gr 1 Rosehill Guineas.

His dam MARDI is by Redoute’s Choice was a tough and durable racemare who won several metropolitan races as well finishing 4th to Group 1 mares Catkins, Plucky Belle and Avoid Lightning in the Gr 2 Millie Fox Stakes.
Granddam BIANCA won the Ipswich, Wyong and Newcastle Cups before running a close second in the Gr 1 The Metropolitan over 2400m.
