Description
This striking filly is from the second crop of Zousain — the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes-placed son of the superstar sire Zoustar. Zousain’s early progeny are already making waves, with standout performances from the two-time Group 3 winning filly Drifting in the Magic Night Stakes and Quezette Stakes, and a host of others coming through the ranks. Indeed, Zousain is a leading first season sire producing 4 stakes performing 2yos in his first crop. This filly is in his second crop.
What makes this filly even more special? She’s one of just a three foals bred by combining Zoustar/Zousain with mares by Big Brown - a cross with a 100% winners-to-runners strike rate, led by the stakes-performed filly Sweetened. Big Brown’s record as a broodmare sire is impeccable, producing 25 stakes performers, including 2023 Kentucky Derby champion Mage and two-time Group 2 winner Roots (Hot Danish & Emancipation Stakes).
Bred at the renowned Goodwood Farm in Murrurundi, home to Group 1 champions like Rebel Dane, Flying Artie, and Private Eye, this filly offers an elite pedigree. With a perfect A-rating by TrueNicks and a 20/20 match on G1 Goldmine, her pedigree is exceptional.
This filly was purchased in early 2024, broken in by Hinterland Thoroughbreds, and has completed two education preps under the care of leading trainer Matthew Dunn. After an 12-week break, she’s fresh, and ready to return to work.
She’s sound, having been fully X-rayed and scoped (reports attached), and shows a fantastic attitude with continued improvement expected as she continues to mature. She's registered and PAID UP for BOBS Silver.
