Description
Share available in Listed winning Almanzor mare Ahuriri.
There is 10% of this mare on offer due to a change in circumstances.
Purchased for $210,000 from the NZB yearling sale, this filly has shown potential as a stayer from day one. She was beaten 0.1 lengths on debut and after being beaten 0.6 lengths at her next start to run third, she won over 1890m at only her fifth race day start when up to a suitable distance.
In only her second racing preparation, she won the Listed VRC ST LEGER convincingly by 2.25 lengths before running a luckless 5th in the Group 1 SA DERBY and travelling to Queensland where she ran midfield in the Group 1 Queensland Oaks.
She has raced creditably since, before being spelled and is now back in pre-training as a sound horse, ready to come into the stable for her next preparation.
