Opportunities are available to be involved in the ownership of multiple city winner Crafty Eagle due to owners wanting to sell their shares.
A handsome 5yo gelding by Starcraft from Splendid Eagle, Crafty Eagle is quite lightly-raced having 17 career starts for four wins at Warwick Farm, Randwick, Kensington and Gosford and four placings at both city and provincial tracks, including running 2nd in the Grafton Guineas, resulting in $226,925 in prize money. He also has some black-type on his pedigree page after running 4th in the Group 3 Winx Guineas beaten less than two lengths.
Crafty Eagle is trained by multiple Group 1-winning trainer John Thompson at Randwick and is a sound horse with plenty of racing ahead of him. He did have surgery in early 2024 to have bone chips removed from his near fore (left) knee but has had several runs since, including a city win, with no issues. Crafty Eagle is a very honest racehorse and is currently having a well-earned rest in the paddock after his recent winning race campaign.
