Description
Lillian Belle is a 4yo mare who stands approximately 16.1hh. She is a half sister to 2yo Listed place getter STORM WHISPER who won on debut by 6L in Perth and at the time Dean Lester rated his debut as the 26th best 2yo in the country. He then went on to place at listed level his second run and unfortunately broke down in Perths premier 2yo race the Group2 Karakatta. Lillian is also a FULL sister to multiple city winner and stakes placed mare La Belle Jude who’s oldest progeny is a 3 yo filly by Russian Revolution who ran 2nd in her jumpout at Pakenham recently. La Belle Jude (Lillian’s full sister) has been given every opportunity to succeed as a broodmare being sent to top commercial stallions in Russian Revolution, Nicconi and Artorius meaning if La Belle Jude throws a nice hose it will make Lillian Belle more valuable.
Lillian Belle showed so much promise early on as a young horse, she always galloped very well, and somewhere along the line she has gone a miss and has been a real head scratched for connections. She runs good time at home, wins and places in her jumpouts at Pakenham but would lack the mental capacity raceday, she wasn’t naughty raceday she did everything right but would “run her race’ pre race so to speak from sweating up and shaking.
Lillian Lacks any danehill in her pedigree and also is out of a Hurricane Sky mare - Hurricane Sky hails from the same female family as Redoute choice meaning you can cross Lillian with any of the Snitzel/ Redoutes line stallion and duplicate the show lady/ dancing how female line without adding in too much danehill.
Lillian is correct, and clean winded - a grade 1 throat. Vet checks/ scopes welcome.
