Description
Tiye is a lovely chestnut filly by G1-producing sire American Pharoah, out of the stakes-winning New Zealand mare Second Time Lucky. As a half-sister to G3 winner English Riviera, she hails from a pedigree that continues to strengthen, with Second Time Lucky also having a filly by Stay Inside and a colt by Extreme Choice still to run for her.
Not only is Tiye well-bred, but she has also shown promise on the track. Lightly raced, she has contested four starts, including two at stakes level. Her best performance came in the Listed Bill Carter Stakes, where she finished fourth behind the talented Clean Energy and subsequent G1 winner Lady Shenandoah. Notably, she recorded the equal-fastest last 200m sectional in the race alongside Lady Shenandoah, highlighting her strong finishing ability. Tiye is still improving and well-positioned to break her maiden soon.
She is being sold to make way for new stock, presenting an excellent opportunity for buyers looking for a progressive filly who has been competitive in black-type races.
