REDUCTION SALE
A lightly raced winning daughter of the Champion Sire Written Tycoon who is already making his mark as a broodmare sire (including last year's Gr.1 Australasian Oaks winner Vibrant Sun), Ulanni was a $210,000 Magic Millions yearling.
She is a half-sister to last year's VOBIS Gold Reef winner, the stakes placed Fistsoffury out of the stakes placed imported Street Boss mare Star Via Strada who continues to visit highly commercial stallions; served last spring by All Too Hard with youngsters by Brazen Beau, Wild Ruler and Russian Revolution coming through.
Star Via Strada is a half-sister to the US Gr.3 winner The Tabulator and this is a Gr.1 family, Ulanni able to claim amongst her relations the big race winners Bellamy Road, Gold Fever and Boisterous.
Ulanni is being sold with an eye-catching De Gaulle filly at foot.
A beautifully bred Exceed And Excel stallion out of the dual Gr.1 winning mare Response - also dam of the Gr.1 Golden Slipper Stakes heroine Estijaab and the Gr.3 Concorde Stakes winner Remarque - De Gaulle is proving a terrific upgrader.
This is a mating that brings together two great local stallions - Exceed And Excel and Written Tycoon, a combination that has produced six stakes winners amongst its first 62 winners.
Not served last year, this mare is part of a Quilly Park reduction sale necessitated by property upgrades preparing for composting, seeding and new fencing; requiring reductions in current numbers due to a lack of room. We look forward to our horses doing good things for their new owners and to Quilly Park's future.
